" Stacey and Everyone at HDL, It is 10:00 p.m. on February 17. We have had several hours of snow, sleet, and driving winds. It is AWFUL out there…yet I see and hear your trucks going by…cleaning a path on our subdivision streets. I know you will all be at this all night, and probably most of tomorrow, clearing… and re-clearing… and re-clearing streets, lots, drives, and sidewalks for your many clients in various locations. And, I know that when the winds die down tomorrow, you will be here to clean off my drive and my walks, just like you have done so many other times this winter.
I feel a bit guilty for being inside and safe and warm, but more than that, I feel such gratitude, because all this crazy-winter-long, I have known that if I HAD to get out, I would be ABLE to get out.
